In September and October of 2023 ALBeRo President Alex Tyrrell (B.Sc. Env) completed an inventory of Eurasian Milfoil plants in Beaven and Round Lakes. By clicking on the map below you can view the detailed version on Google My Maps where you will find the high density zones plated on the map as well as points where plants have been observed but in low density. There are also a number of geo-located photos of the high density zones. Last year our milfoil removal operations were focused on the western section of Round lake. Our volunteers were able to remove a high density zone near the creek last summer; a sign of progress which is visible on the 2023 map.

Brilliant work and congratulations to all involved! The great time-series maps and photos really help to give perspective and a proper understanding of the challenge and the activity to address it.
Well done!
Thank you for you support Stephen and for your dedication to AlBeRo
